Kristina is an Ontario Certified Teacher (OCT) with a Special Education Specialist qualification and over 18 years of experience in education. As a Special Education Department Head, she has supported learners with a wide range of learning needs, helping them build skills, recognize their strengths, and develop greater confidence and independence.
Kristina takes a warm, individualized, and strengths-based approach to executive functioning coaching. She supports children, youth, and young adults in developing practical strategies for organization, planning, time management, task initiation, self-regulation, and problem-solving. She also supports young adults as they transition to post-secondary education, helping them develop the executive functioning skills needed to manage increased academic demands and independence.
Kristina also works with parents and educators to strengthen their understanding of executive functioning and explore practical strategies that support learners in everyday life. Through coaching, she helps educators reflect on their practices, adapt their approaches, and create environments that foster students’ independence and success.
Kristina believes that executive functioning skills can be developed over time with the right support, encouragement, and strategies. Her goal is to help learners and the people who support them feel more confident, capable, and equipped to navigate challenges both in school and beyond.
In addition to executive functioning coaching, Kristina can provide academic support across grade levels in Languages, Social Sciences, and the Arts. She helps learners strengthen their skills, build confidence, and develop effective learning strategies that support both academic achievement and independence.
