Ms. Islam provides Executive Functioning and Educational Skills Coaching services for children, youth, and adults, specializing in working with individuals diagnosed with ADD and ADHD. Depending on her client’s needs, Ms. Islam provides strategies to build and strengthen executive functioning skills and tools to cope with the daily stresses of life. She also offers academic support in all subjects. She believes in using strength-based teaching and a growth mindset to help her clients reach their full potential socially, academically and in professional settings. Ms. Islam emphasizes social emotional learning and believes in individualized solutions that are practiced with patience and consistency, which are key to progress. Ms. Islam also incorporates mindfulness techniques in her practice to help her clients improve their self-awareness, emotion regulation, behavior and anxiety management. In providing these services, it is Ms. Islam’s goal is to create an inclusive, safe space for her clients to learn and grow.

Ms. Islam completed her Master’s in Teaching at the Ontario Institute for Studies in Education (OISE) at the University of Toronto. She is a member in good standing of the Ontario College of Teachers. Ms. Islam has previously worked as a Learning Specialist in an independent school setting supporting students with learning challenges. 

Ms. Islam is currently accepting new clients. She offers services in-person and virtually.
